poetry by Delaney Bowers
The air so cold and crisp
It cuts like a knife.
The sky,
A bowl of sugar,
Waits patiently
To be tipped over.
The untouched ground is clueless.
It will soon be sweetened.
A winter wonder candy land,
Where the candy will not be eaten.
