How come I’m so attached when he is not?
Is it really true saying love is blind?
Because I see good in everything taught,
From him to me, it is myself I find.
It’s his imperfections that draw me near,
So we both can grow together as one.
With a message conveyed that’s so crystal clear,
That he’ll stick beside me when all is done.
But his own heart is telling him one thing
while mine is trying to persuade the rest.
It’s a song with broken words I sing,
Putting this relationship to the test.
But as I said, I’m not the one he wants,
So it’s just friends, and it’s me he still haunts.
